Doctor’s office looking to add a Medical Sales Associate/Phlembomotist to our busy office

You will have the drive and dedication to succeed. A successful candidate is responsible for providing basic support for our physician and Smithtown office. This position’s primary focus points are managing provider schedules, including entering schedules into electronic system, confirming appointments, scribing for doctor and .

M,W, F 9:30/10am- 4/5pm

T 12-6

1 Saturday/month 10-4

Here's what we're looking for:

Phlebotomist

Part-time availability with the opportunity to go full-time if available

Someone willing to pick up extra shifts when needed

Customer service experience preferred

Sales and customer service oriented

Sales experience is preferred but not required.

A positive, friendly, upbeat and personable demeanor.

A professional appearance at all times.

Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Ability to multitask and have attention to detail (A MUST)

Job Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the location.

Managing the flow of guests in and out of the location

Ability to use computers/ scan documents

Providing customer service

Making confirm calls, checking the reservation book for errors/duplicates, keeping yourself productive during your shift

Confirming patients appointments

Ensure consent forms are signed for each procedure

Ability to work both individually and as a team

Managing the reservation book/scheduling

Answering the phones

Upholding policies and procedures

Cleaning

Educating guests on programs, offers, and promotions.

Responsible for patient check-in and check-out.

Responsible for collecting any balances owed.

Scan all necessary documents (insurance cards, lab requisitions, etc.) into the EMR system.

Maintains cooperative and professional relationships with providers and office staff.
