Medical Sales Consultant

Position Summary:
The Lead Generator is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential provider accounts through a combination of outbound phone calls and in-person visits. This role is the first point of contact for potential clients, introducing them to our services, providing marketing materials, and gathering key information. The Lead Generator does not close the account but prepares and passes the opportunity to the Area Manager for follow-up and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Research and identify potential provider accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct cold calls to introduce the company and assess initial interest.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person visits to provider offices to deliver flyers and marketing materials.
  • Record all outreach activities and contact information in the company database.

Lead Qualification

  • Gather essential information on potential accounts to determine if they meet qualification criteria.
  • Evaluate interest level and potential fit before passing leads to the Area Manager.
  • Document visit notes and ensure all required details are complete for smooth handoff.

Collaboration with Area Manager

  • Provide the Area Manager with prepared, qualified leads and background information.
  • Coordinate with the Area Manager to schedule follow-up visits or meetings.
  • Communicate updates on lead status, interest levels, and any urgent opportunities.

Brand Representation

  • Represent the company professionally during all calls and in-person visits.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are up to date and presented neatly to potential accounts.
  • Build positive first impressions to create warm introductions for the Area Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • 1+ years of sales, marketing, or customer service experience (healthcare or field sales a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and in-person prospecting.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Work Environment:
This role involves both in-office/remote phone work and frequent travel to provider offices within the assigned region.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
