Advanced Sleep Medicine Services provides Home Sleep Tests for the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, a significant medical condition. Founded in 1994, we provide premier patient care and customer service and are contracted with nearly all PPOs, HMOs and medical groups in California.
We are looking for a sales representative for outside sales (minimum 3 days per week) and inside sales (2 days) for a large territory including Los Angeles and the San Fernando, San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys with additional coverage of Lancaster, Bakersfield and the Inland Empire. The sales representative will call on physician offices to develop, maintain and grow referral relationships, supplemented with inside sales activities.
We prefer candidates with prior medical office sales experience. We require a good attitude, self-starting motivation, reliability and trustworthiness, and the desire to learn and to do good in the world. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual experienced in outside sales in the medical field, or who is relatively new to the medical industry.
** This is a remote position in Southern California. Applicant must reside in Southern California. Areas of interest are San Fernando Valley, Glendale, Los Angeles, San Bernardino County **
Responsibilities
- Travel between doctors’ offices in the territory.
- Grow existing and new accounts by reviewing the need for home sleep tests and providing great follow up and support of referring physician offices.
- Build new relationships by cold calling offices that may have not yet heard of our services.
- Meet growth targets.
- Document sales activity and meet numerical targets for visits and phone calls completed, utilizing the company software that includes time and GPS stamp.
- Develop expertise in the home sleep test field. Review sleep study reports with physicians and staff, including treatment options and follow up. Schedule luncheons and in-services with physicians and/or their staff to more effectively develop a trustworthy and indispensable relationship.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Medical sales experience, especially in sleep medicine
- Experience working in a performance-based compensation structure
