Medical Sales & Referral Development Specialist – Physical Therapy

Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Medical Sales & Referral Development Specialist specializing in Physical Therapy! In this energetic role, you will drive growth by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, and hospitals to promote our innovative physical therapy products and services.

We are looking for a high-performing medical sales professional with a background in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales to drive referral growth. This role is focused on using your current strong relationships with physicians, specialists, and key healthcare providers to increase patient referrals to our clinics.

Your passion for healthcare and sales will help expand our referral network, improve patient outcomes, and elevate our brand presence in the medical community. About Us:
Stride Physical Therapy is a fast-growing, patient-focused clinic delivering high-quality, concierge-level care. We are expanding our footprint in the Greater Hartford area and are seeking a results-driven sales professional to help grow our referral network and community presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with physicians, orthopedic groups, primary care providers, pain management specialists, and other referral sources
  • Execute consistent in-person visits to medical offices and healthcare organizations throughout the Hartford area
  • Leverage existing relationships and establish new referral pipelines
  • Educate providers on Stride Physical Therapy’s services, outcomes, and patient experience
  • Identify strategic partnership opportunities within the medical and fitness communities
  • Track referral patterns, territory activity, and growth metrics
  • Represent Stride at networking events, community outreach programs, and industry events

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales experience REQUIRED
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong existing relationships within the Greater Hartford medical community preferred
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong organizational and territory management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Currently employed in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales
  • Maintains active relationships with physicians, specialists, and referral sources in the Hartford market
