Medical Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION - OF MEDICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Promoting, detailing, and selling products to doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies to meet, or exceed, sales targets. Key responsibilities include building relationships with HCPs, organizing presentations, and analysing market trends while ensuring compliance with UAE health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Promotion: Driving product sales and increasing market share for assigned brands in pharmacies and clinics.
• Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff to increase brand awareness.
• Product Knowledge & Education: Delivering scientific, detailed information regarding product benefits, dosages, and side effects to HCPs.
• Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitoring competitor activity, identifying new market opportunities, and providing feedback on customer needs.
• Administrative Duties: Using CRM tools to track sales, maintaining records of client interactions, and coordinating with logistics for timely product availability.
• Compliance & Events: Ensuring all activities comply with local UAE regulations and attending medical conferences/seminars.
• Requirements
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or Life Sciences is typically required.
• Experience: Generally, 1–3 years of proven experience as a medical representative, often with specialized experience in specific areas like dermatology or aesthetics required by some employers.
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is frequently preferred or required.
• Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Dubai/UAE healthcare market and regulations.

• Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Number of customer visits/calls per day.
