Medical Sales Representative

Territory: Tucson, AZ

Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is responsible for meeting and exceeding territory sales goals by using strategic sales tactics while performing face-to-face sales calls. This position will primarily focus on growing referral volume to Radiology Ltd. Centers within the greater Tucson area. Selling skills and business planning ability is critical. A successful incumbent should be a flexible thinker who is able to produce results in an ever-changing fast paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop strong relationships with attorneys, paralegals, referring physicians, nurses, and medical assistants to promote Radiology Ltd. services

Gain in-depth knowledge of the outpatient radiology industry its services and the local competition within a specific market

Development of weekly call routing plans and quarterly business plans

Leverage the Radiology Ltd. CRM system and business intelligence tools to inform targeting and resource allocation

Execution of Radiology Ltd. marketing strategy

Management of monthly promotional budget and marketing collateral

Partner with operations team at Radiology Ltd. imaging centers to ensure customer satisfaction and inform regional sales strategies

Understand and uphold all corporate compliance policies

Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols

Knowledge of sales principles, consultative selling techniques, and strategies used to influence referral relationships and generate results

Knowledge of basic business concepts, including financial awareness and the ability to analyze data to support territory growth strategies

Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines

Knowledge of basic level computer skills

Skill in organizing territory activities, managing time effectively, and maintaining detailed records of sales interactions

Skill in written and verbal communication, including the ability to effectively present information and build professional relationships

Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation in a rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment

Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and apply sound business judgment in decision-making

Ability to learn quickly, apply feedback, and demonstrate openness to coaching and professional development

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines

Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change

Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy

Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time approval to work as scheduled

Ability to deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassion

Ability to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next level

Ability to remain calm in difficult situations

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced level degree or related certifications preferred

At least two (2) years of direct outside sales experience, preferably in a healthcare related field

Law firm experience within the personal injury space

Physical Requirements:
Moderate lifting: up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to sit, stand, stoop and reach as needed during normal job duties and while visiting referral partners and healthcare facilities

Ability to drive for extended periods of time while traveling throughout the assigned territory

Requires the use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, telephones, and copiers

Requires computer-related activities for extended periods

Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, write, and key

Travel Required (% of the time):
Up to 100% local travel within the greater Tucson area to conduct in-person sales calls and relationship-building activities

Occasional travel throughout Southern Arizona

Occasional out-of-state travel for company meetings, conferences, or training sessions
