Medical Sales Representative

Job Title: Medical Equipment Sales & Acquisition Representative

Location: Irving, TX (On-site / Hybrid)

Role Purpose

To drive revenue through the strategic acquisition of retired medical assets and the sale of premium refurbished equipment. You will be the primary link between healthcare facilities looking to liquidate surplus inventory and clinics seeking high-quality, cost-effective equipment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Acquisition: Proactively identify and contact hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics to purchase "retired" or surplus medical equipment.
• Inventory Sales: Manage the full sales cycle for pre-owned and refurbished inventory (Imaging, Anesthesia, Surgical, etc.) to a national database of healthcare providers.
• Consultative Partnerships: Act as a "One Source" advisor, helping facilities manage their equipment lifecycle through trade-ins and disposition services.
• On-Site Evaluations: Conduct physical inspections of equipment at local facilities to assess condition and resale value.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our in-house Biomedical Technicians to ensure equipment meets quality standards before delivery.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment leads, active quotes, and long-term facility relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in B2B sales (medical device, industrial equipment, or capital assets preferred).
• Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to manage "buy-side" and "sell-side" negotiations to maintain healthy profit margins.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn the specifications of diverse medical categories (e.g., Patient Monitors, Sterilizers, Ultrasound).
• Travel: Ability to travel locally within the DFW Metroplex and occasionally nationwide for large-scale equipment liquidations.
• Physical Ability: Must be comfortable in a warehouse/hospital dock environment and able to assist in basic equipment tag-and-trace tasks.
