Job Ad — Medical Scribe (Clinical Documentation Specialist)

Location: Al Ain, UAE

About the Role

We’re hiring a Medical Scribe to support doctors by handling real-time clinical documentation and admin tasks inside the EMR—so physicians can focus on patient care and clinic flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document patient encounters in the EMR (HPI, ROS, exam, assessment/plan) in real time
  • Prepare and format medical reports, referral letters, sick leaves, and follow-up plans
  • Assist with ordering workflows (labs/imaging) and tracking results for physician review
  • Support documentation accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness
  • Coordinate with nursing/reception/RCM for smooth patient flow (as needed)
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and follow clinic documentation standards

Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ year as a medical scribe / clinic coordinator / medical documentation role (preferred)
  • Education: Healthcare background preferred (nursing/allied health/medical graduate). Strong candidates without clinical degrees will be considered if experienced
  • Skills:
  • Fast and accurate typing (ideally 50+ WPM)
  • Strong medical English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Comfortable with EMR systems and structured clinical notes
  • High attention to detail, speed, and professionalism under pressure
