Medical Scribe

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

We are seeking a dedicated medical scribe to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.

Job Type: Part-time, Direct Hire

Pay: $21-23 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Document patient visits and interactions in real-time
• Manage and organize electronic health records
• Assist healthcare providers in streamlining workflow and enhancing patient care
• Prepare and update patient charts before and after appointments
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
• Assist with follow-up appointments and patient inquiries
• Support the implementation of clinical protocols and workflows
• Locate information for review (i.e., previous notes, reports, test results, and laboratory)
• Knowledgeable and proficient in medical terminology

Requirements:

• In school for an NP/PA/MD preferred
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Equivalent work experience
• CPR certification
• Some experience in Medical Scribe
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required
