Medical Scribe – Part-Time (Gainesville, Newberry, Starke)

We’re hiring part-time Medical Scribes to join our team. In this role, you’ll document patient encounters, manage medical records, and support physicians directly in the emergency department and other clinical settings. This is a unique opportunity for students and future healthcare professionals to learn medicine firsthand.

What You’ll Do:

• Document patient histories, exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans in real time.
• Assist with orders, reports, and medical documentation.
• Learn medical terminology, procedures, and workflows through paid training.
• Ensure accurate and confidential patient records.

What We’re Looking For:

• Open availability (scribes work when physicians work).
• Required commitment of at least 1 year, 2–3 shifts per week (including weekends).
• High school diploma required; medical terminology knowledge or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong typing and writing skills (60 WPM).
• Professional, organized, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between Gainesville, Newberry, and Starke.
