We’re looking for a highly attentive and dependable Medical Scribe to support our providers in a fast-paced outpatient medical practice. In this role, you’ll document patient encounters in real time, manage electronic health records, and ensure every visit is clearly and thoroughly recorded.

Our private practice specializes in advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine, providing high-quality, patient-centered treatment in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift | Day Shift | Monday through Friday | No weekends
Location: 250 N. Robertson Blvd., Suite 104, Beverly Hills, CA 90211
Work Setting: In-Person | Office | Private Practice | Medical Office

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. This role plays a critical part in supporting providers by improving the accuracy, efficiency, and completeness of medical documentation.

The Medical Scribe is responsible for transcribing medical information in real time and ensuring thorough documentation of patient encounters, including histories, examinations, procedures, and treatment plans. By managing documentation needs, this position allows healthcare providers to focus more fully on delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately document patient encounters, including medical history, examination findings, procedures, and treatment plans, in real-time during medical consultations.
  • Assist healthcare providers by managing electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure the completeness and accuracy of medical records.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow by preparing charts and organizing documentation prior to patient visits.
  • Assist in the generation of referral letters, patient summaries, and other medical correspondence as needed.
  • Continuously update knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices to ensure high-quality scribing services.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about changes in documentation requirements and procedures.

Compensation Range

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 to $21.00, depending on qualifications and experience.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Prolonged sitting and computer use
  • Ability to type for extended periods
  • Ability to accompany providers between exam rooms
  • Visual acuity for detailed chart review and documentation

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation processes.

Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or science-related field
Pre-med, nursing, PA, or allied health career interest
Experience in specialty care or surgical settings
Knowledge of medical coding or billing terminology
