Medical Scribe

Seeking a medical scribe/assistant to aid in documentation of patient visits. We are a mental health clinic that provides comprehensive psychiatric care and a variety of outpatient treatments to our patients. This position is for those completing an undergraduate or associate degree that able to commit to working part time 3 to 5 days a week at two separate locations. You will be working with a psychiatrist in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, and further details will be given upon interview. Written proficiency in the english language, basic technical proficiency with computers, and reliable transportation is required.

Job responsibilities include transcribing confidential health information and completing psychiatric medical notes. As a medical scribe, you will be responsible for documenting patient encounters into an EMR system as directed by the supervising physician and assisting with additional related tasks.

Prior scribe experience is recommended but not required. An introduction on navigating the EMR system, the components of a behavioral medicine note, and how to thoroughly document a patient encounter will be reviewed during an orientation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
