Medical Scribe

Hampton Roads Cardiology (HRC) is currently looking for students who are hoping to pursue a career in medicine or seeking employment in today’s health care by gaining the hands-on experience needed to excel by working as a paraprofessional medical scribe. We are in need of one full-time or part-time (flexible hours) medical scribe.
Our office hours are 8-5 pm, Monday-Friday. HRC is located at the North Campus Entrance of the Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, Virginia.
The cardiologist offers an educational opportunity for students to observe, participate, and contribute in learning and documenting physician-patient interactions. The right candidate will work closely at hand with Dr. Ridley documenting and obtaining the vocabulary, anatomy, and medical terminology needed to thrive in today’s healthcare.
All who are willing and ready to learn as well as gain these hands on experiences should apply. Prior experience is preferred BUT not required as we are willing to work with and train the right candidate.
