Role Description

This is a part-time/weekend on-site role as a Medical Scribe at RM Psychiatry located in Waukegan, IL. As a Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for documenting medical information, assisting healthcare providers with patient care, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for premeds or anyone interested in applying to a healthcare program and experiencing work in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. A letter of recommendation will be written if requested.

Qualifications

-Bachelors Degree Required

-Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

-Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus

-Ability to work in a fast-paced healthy environment

-Reliable and professional work ethic

-Willingness to learn

Experience in a similar role or healthcare setting is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
