Summary
As a Medical Scribe at Ringwala Allergy & Asthma, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team by accurately documenting patient encounters and maintaining comprehensive medical records. This position is essential for enhancing the efficiency of our medical practice and ensuring that patient information is meticulously recorded.
Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe physician-patient encounters into electronic health records (EHR).
- Document medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans as directed by physicians.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Assist in managing patient flow within the office to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation of clinical information.
- Stay informed about medical terminology and procedures to enhance documentation accuracy.
- Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proven experience with medical documentation and record-keeping systems.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate transcription.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals.
- Experience in a medical office or emergency room setting is a plus.
