Responsibilities:

• Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam
• Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and plan of care. Attention to detail is a must.
• Gain substantial knowledge in how to appropriately document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures, treatment plans, diagnoses, medication/prescription information, and follow-up instructions
• Navigate the offices computer system and electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, personable demeanor
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
