Medical scribe

Seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented team member to support medical provider visits at assisted living communities by taking vitals, assisting with documentation, and helping complete charts in the EHR.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assisted living buildings to accompany and support medical provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, SpO₂) per protocol.
• Assist with patient intake, rooming, and visit flow coordination.
• Support accurate, timely chart completion in the EHR during/after visits (typing, templates, basic data entry).
• Use proper medical terminology and maintain clear, professional documentation.
• Communicate effectively with providers, facility staff, residents, and families as appropriate.
• Follow HIPAA/privacy and company policies; report concerns promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Medical experience in a clinical setting (e.g., MA, CNA, EMT, LPN, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical workflows.
• Hands-on experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Excellent typing skills and comfort with rapid, accurate documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable transportation and willingness to travel between assisted living locations.
• Professional, compassionate communication style—must genuinely enjoy working with older adults.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
