Medical Scribe

We are a private urology office located in Encino looking for a full-time medical scribe. This is a perfect opportunity for recent college graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in the medical field (PA school, medical school, etc). No prior experience as a scribe is necessary and training will be provided. We are looking to start training mid May, 2026

Main job duties include:

· Accompanying the doctor into the exam room to record chief complaint(s), physical exam, ultrasound results, and treatment plan for patient using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

· Ordering x-rays, CT scans, urine cultures, blood tests, etc.

· Calling patients to give blood test results per doctor’s instruction.

· Scanning patient paperwork/test results/surgery paperwork into the EMR

Qualifications:

· Responsible, detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual

· Excellent listening and communication skills.

· Strong science background and interested in the medical field.

· Any prior experience in the healthcare field is a plus.

· Can type at least 50 wpm.

· Available to work Monday – Thursday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM) and Friday (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM)

· Must commit for at least 1 year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
