• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, capturing symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and physician instructions with accuracy and speed
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to input, update, and organize patient information efficiently
• Assist healthcare providers by preparing documentation related to medical history, physical exams, and lab results
• Maintain meticulous records of medical encounters, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and hospital policies
• Support physicians in managing medical records by retrieving previous notes, lab reports, and imaging results as needed
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately interpret clinical language and document complex medical terminology
• Handle transcription tasks with precision, including typing detailed notes swiftly during fast-paced clinical settings such as emergency rooms or outpatient clinics

Experience

• Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential for efficient documentation and record management
• Proven ability to transcribe medical information accurately under time constraints
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to ensure precise documentation of clinical encounters
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy to support real-time documentation needs
• Previous exposure to medical records management or administrative roles within healthcare settings is advantageous
