Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support our physicians with real-time clinical documentation and workflow efficiency. This is an ideal role for individuals pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, or allied health who are looking for meaningful, hands-on clinical exposure in a dynamic outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Document patient encounters in real time within the EMR
- Accurately capture history of present illness, review of systems, physical exam findings, and assessment/plan
- Assist physicians in maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day
- Prepare charts in advance of patient visits, including relevant history and prior results
- Ensure documentation supports appropriate coding and compliance standards
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support overall office operations
Qualifications
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
- Prior scribe or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
