Medical Scribe

We are seeking a motivated, service-oriented team member who is passionate about making a difference in the healthcare field. This role is ideal for post-college PreMed or PrePA students who are taking a gap year while applying to medical or PA school, this position will equate to up to 30 clinical hours per week which looks GREAT on med school applications!. The position offers hands-on experience and a unique opportunity to learn directly from a dedicated Primary Care Physician in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Medical Scribe to a busy Primary Care Physician, documenting office visit notes in real-time.
• Gain hands-on experience with electronic medical records (EMR), patient charting, and documentation of medical history, problems, and medications.
• Assist with setting up referrals, placing tests and orders, and other clinical tasks under direct physician supervision.
• Participate in special projects to support the healthcare team and clinic staff.
• Work across two clinic locations (Forest Grove & Hillsboro) in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• PreMed or PrePA students (or recent graduates) looking for clinical experience before medical/PA school.
• Excellent command of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and typing proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, active listening, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic anatomy/physiology is a plus (not required).
• Eager to learn, reliable, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
