Medical Scribe

A busy outpatient specialty practice in Yonkers, NY is seeking a part-time Medical Scribe to support a provider with real-time documentation during patient visits. This is a newly created role offering valuable hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting where your work will have a direct impact on patient care and provider efficiency. Schedule & Pay:

• Approximately 3 Mondays per month, 9AM-2PM
• Thursdays, 9AM-2PM
• $21-24/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Document patient encounters in real-time during consults and follow-up visits
• Accurately input medical histories, physical exams, and provider notes into the EMR
• Assist with chart preparation and ensure documentation is complete and timely
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior medical scribe experience or strong exposure to a clinical setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology required (assessment will be administered)
• Strong computer and data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and keep up with provider workflow
• Reliable and able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule
