Medical Assistant / Dermatology Scribe

IMPORTANT: Applicants must be willing and able to work in all three office locations: Basking Ridge, Chatham, and Union, NJ. Reliable transportation is required, as travel between offices is a regular part of this position. This is NOT a summer job-looking for long term.

About Us

We are a busy, patient-focused dermatology practice seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our providers and ensuring an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities(include but not limited to)

• Accurately document patient encounters in real time as a medical scribe during dermatology appointments.
• Assist providers with patient flow and clinical procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
• Obtain and document patient histories, medications.
• Coordinate patient care, follow-up appointments, and referrals as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
• Perform other medical assistant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience is required.
• Previous medical scribing experience is preferred but not required.
• Dermatology experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be willing and able to work at all three office locations: Basking Ridge, Chatham, and Union.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.13 per hour
