Job Description

Our Medical Scribe is a valuable part of the extraordinary care offered at ADVANCED Orthopedic Clinic. The Medical Scribe is responsible for helping ensure the smooth operations in the fast paced environment of the clinic with the goal of a positive patient experience with every encounter.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible to document the physician dictated patient history, physical examination, family, social, and past medical history as well as document procedures, lab results, dictated radiographic impressions made by the supervising position and may communicate with patients their medical care plans. Must be fluent in medical terminology be able to spell correctly and proficient (60 wpm) in typing skills.

Entry Rate: Competitive; dependent upon experience ($12-$14)

Benefits Eligible: Yes; if meeting requirements for full time employment.

Shift Details: This position is Part Time (approximately 10-20 hours). Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8AM- 7PM, Saturday 10 AM-1 PM

Department: Orthopedics

Minimum Requirements:

• Demonstrate ability to communicated effectively in writing and via email.
• Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
• Demonstrated computer skills with data entry software.
• Must be able to flex schedule in accordance with patient and provider schedule.

Physical Requirements:

Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, using peripheral computer tools
