Medical Scribe and Assistant

Professional ophthalmology practice in Orange County seeking a personable and detail-oriented medical scribe/ophthalmic technician. Candidate must have strong computer skills, a desire to learn, the ability to multi-task, professional, able to move at a fast pace and must be reliable. This position requires a strong work ethic, honesty, punctuality, and commitment.

The Medical Scribe responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 Rooming patients
 Taking patient history and perform vision testing
 Assisting physician in patient examinations and procedures
 Transcribing accurately and efficiently in real time on EMR
 Multi-tasking in a high paced environment
 Providing support for physician and other members of the team in the practice

Willing to train the right candidate, including Medical Assistant, pre-med or pre-nursing students or students applying to PA school or healthcare fields. Full Time OR PART TIME.
