Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations using E-Clinical with precision and speed
  • Support physicians and healthcare providers by managing medical documentation, including histories, physicals, and treatment plans
  • Assist with medical procedures, including preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, and administering vaccines/injections, and sending prescriptions
  • Maintain accurate and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies
  • Demonstrate physiology and anatomy knowledge to accurately document diagnoses, symptoms, and treatment details
  • Manage administrative tasks such as updating patient information and handling correspondence
  • Respond promptly to urgent situations or emergency room scenarios with professionalism and calmness

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a medical office setting as a Medical Scribe, otherwise candidate must undergo unpaid scribe training
  • Strong familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and record management
  • Excellent transcription skills with high accuracy in capturing detailed clinical information
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy to support precise documentation
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately under pressure during busy clinic hours or emergency situations
  • Prior medical assistant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
  • Demonstrated understanding of medical records management and confidentiality standards

Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-6:00 pm
  • Training to begin Mid-May 2026 to Beginning of June 2026

Pay: $18.00 per hour
