Responsibilities

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, capturing vital signs, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans with precision.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical examinations, and procedural details in real-time using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical documentation, adhering to privacy regulations and institutional standards.
• Support the maintenance of organized medical records by updating charts promptly and efficiently.
• Utilize physiology and anatomy knowledge to accurately interpret provider instructions and translate complex medical terminology into clear documentation.
• Manage typing tasks swiftly and accurately to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments, including emergency room settings when applicable.
• Collaborate with medical staff to verify information and clarify documentation as needed during patient encounters.Experience
• Prior experience with transcription or medical documentation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR or EHR systems used in clinical settings will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy is essential for accurate transcription and understanding provider instructions.
