Internal Medicine Practice is seeking a highly experienced Medical Scribe/Assistant.

Must be organized,**** ENERGETIC***, and able to handle ***multiple tasks*** concurrently. Must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with patients and medical providers and staff.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, who needs no supervision and can complete tasks without being told what to do, you must be a multi-tasker and a team player. Also computer skills, excellent customer service is a MUST. sending/receiving patient medical records; obtaining lab/x-ray reports, hospital notes, ability to do referrals for patients, completing forms/requisitions as needed; scheduling appointments for patients ; managing charts to ensure information completed and filed appropriately.

• Documenting patients’ visits by taking notes and entering them in the electronic health records system
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient documentation
• Coordinate with doctor to complete and submit medical records
• Complete medical assisting and administrative tasks as requested

MUST BE: Multi-tasker Highly organized Team player Energetic Outgoing Detail oriented Fast typing Skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar position
• Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation
• Strong computer and transcription skills
• Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements
• Highly organized with excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Familiar with RAF scores/Quality measures a plus!

Must have at least 2 years of back office experience and has been a medical scribe, preferably in internal medicine.

From $19+ PER HOUR..DOE

We offer a small family type atmosphere, no drama. 4 providers, 4 other medical assistants and practice administrator.

Hours: In office: HOURS 8:00-5:00 Must be in Office Mon/Wed/Fri

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
