We are Medical Scribe company operating in various emergency departments and specialty clinics (Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, and Family/Internal Medicine) in San Jose, Gilroy, and Fremont, CA . We are currently seeking for pre-medical/pre-health/recent graduates to fill our position of part-time Medical Scribe in our INTERNAL MEDICINE CLINIC in Fremont, CA.

• CLINIC HOURS:
• Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and alternating Thursdays - 8:00am - 6:00pm (1 hour lunch break)

Responsibilities and Duties

Medical scribes are expected to:

• Create and maintain patient's encounter in the electronic medical record.
• Document patient's History of Present Illness
• Document patient's Physical Exam as dictated by the attending medical provider
• Document patient's imaging (XRs, CTs, US, MRIs) and laboratory studies
• Have a solid understanding of common medical terminology
• Understand the rapid pace and department flow of the ER

Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience in medical office settings
- Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Strong typing skills
- Fluency in Mandarin
- Ability to transcribe medical documentation accurately
- Previous experience in an ER setting

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
