Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe specializing in Pediatrics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with pediatric healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters, ensuring seamless clinical workflows. Duties

• Accompany pediatric providers during patient visits to accurately document medical histories, physical examinations, assessments, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Record patient information including history of present illness (HPI), review of systems (ROS), past medical history, family and social history, and developmental milestones.
• Document procedures, immunizations, laboratory and diagnostic orders, and follow-up instructions.
• Assist with chart preparation prior to patient visits, including review of prior records, test results, and referral notes.
• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, capturing vital signs, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans with precision.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to input and manage patient data efficiently.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to ensure accurate transcription of complex clinical information.
• Support the clinical team by organizing and maintaining medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation details and improve chart accuracy.
• Maintain a fast typing speed and excellent attention to detail to keep pace with busy pediatric clinics.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a medical office setting or as a medical scribe, preferably within pediatrics or family medicine.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and strong transcription skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy relevant to pediatric care.
• Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
