Medical Scribe - Pediatrics

Job Description

We are Medical Scribe company operating in various emergency departments and specialty clinics (Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, and Family/Internal Medicine) in San Jose, Gilroy, Fremont, and Union City, CA . We are currently seeking for pre-medical/pre-health/recent graduates to fill our position of Part-Time Medical Scribe in a PEDIATRICS CLINIC in Fremont, CA.

You will have the following schedule:

  • 2-3 days per week
  • Tuesdays: 8:30am - 4:00pm
  • Fridays: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

  • Prior scribing experience (highly preferred)
  • Prior clinical experience, especially in pediatrics, is preferred
  • Ability to commit to this position for 1 year

Responsibilities and Duties

Medical scribes are expected to:

  • Create and maintain patient's encounter in the electronic medical record.
  • Document patient's History of Present Illness
  • Document patient's Physical Exam as dictated by the attending medical provider
  • Document patient's imaging (XRs, CTs, US, MRIs) and laboratory studies
  • Have a solid understanding of common medical terminology

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
