Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with excellent transcription skills and experience working within electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical records. Duties

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
• Assist healthcare providers by capturing real-time information related to patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Navigate and utilize various EMR and EHR systems efficiently to input, update, and retrieve patient data.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
• Support physicians in managing documentation workflows to optimize clinic efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures to accurately interpret clinical information.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to legal, ethical, and institutional standards for medical records management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate seamless communication and accurate record-keeping during patient visits.

Skills

• Exceptional transcription skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems is essential.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures.
• Excellent typing speed coupled with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation swiftly.
• Familiarity with medical records management protocols and compliance standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic clinical setting while maintaining accuracy.
