Medical Scribe- Remote

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Scribe to support our providers and administrative team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate documentation, efficient order processing, and seamless coordination with pharmacies and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately document patient encounters and provider notes in the EMR system
• Input and manage patient prescriptions and subscription-based treatment plans
• Communicate with pharmacies to clarify prescriptions, resolve issues, and ensure timely fulfillment
• Assist with order entry, tracking, and follow-up for patient treatments
• Support providers with real-time scribing during telehealth visits as needed
• Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records
• Perform general administrative tasks to support clinical operations
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a medical scribe, medical assistant, or similar healthcare role preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards
• Experience working with EMR/EHR systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, especially when coordinating with pharmacies and providers
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Self-motivated and highly organized

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in telemedicine or virtual care settings
• Familiarity with wellness, hormone therapy, or GLP-1 treatments
• Previous experience handling prescriptions or working with pharmacies
