Medical Scribe with Experience

For solo primary care physician. This team member must be well presented, and possess excellent customer service. Track record of being reliable, energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate, with a good common sense who enjoys making a difference in the lives of others.

He/she will be a personal assistant to the physician; performing documentation regarding patients data, gathering information for the patient's visit, and partnering with the physician to deliver the pinnacle of efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe reports from medical personnel
• Translate abbreviations into proper form
• Review reports for completeness
• Correct errors in transcription, grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Scribing and charting for all of the Doctor's patient visits.
• Work side by side with the physician as she see patients.
• Document the patient's history.
• Document physical exams.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical transcription or other related fields
• Familiarity with electronic medical records
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail

Salary will vary according to experience and knowledge in the field.

Pre-medical Students / PA school students with at least 6 month of rotation can be exceptions on case to case basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: depending upon Experience /knowledge/ (part/Full) time status

Required experience:

• EMR: Minimum 6 months
• Medical Scribe: Minimum 6 months.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
