Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical documentation systems. Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe physician-patient encounters during examinations and procedures.
• Document medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR).
• Ensure all medical documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed, including managing patient records and scheduling.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow within the office or ER setting.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical records management and medical documentation processes.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately document clinical findings.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to various specialties.
• Experience with EHR systems and data entry; ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
