Medical Scribe/Medical School Graduate

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical School Graduate to join our team as a Medical Scribe/Medical assistant. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist in providing exceptional patient care. You will also be expected to record patient history, perform basic physical examinations and reconcile medications. This is an excellent opportunity for medical school graduates who are looking to acquire hands on US clincal experience (USCE) in order to bolster their residency application.

Duties:
- Accurately document patient encounters, including medical history, physical examinations, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Perform basic physical examinations (auscultation, palpation, and recording vital signs)
- Transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records
- Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families

Requirements:

- US MD/DO or IMG (International Medical Graduate)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficient in documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Eligible to work in the United States

Skills:
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients
- Medical graduate knowledge: Robust understanding of human body systems, their functions and pathophysiology of disease (USMLE step 1 level knowledge or above)
- Vital signs: Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
- Physical exams: Ability to perform basic physical examinations
- Medical terminology: Proficiency in understanding and using medical terminology
- Patient service: Ability to provide excellent customer service to patients
