Medical Scriber

The Medical Scribe is responsible for assisting healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time, ensuring accurate and complete medical records

Timings: 6:00pm - 3:00am

Location: Maymar Avenue, Scheme 33, Karachi

Budget: 100,000 - 120,000

Responsibilities:

• Go with doctors during patient visits and record patient history, exams, and treatment details
• Enter patient information into the system (EHR) in real-time
• Check and update patient records to keep them accurate and complete
• Record lab results, reports, and other medical information as instructed
• Help prepare discharge summaries and referral notes
• Keep patient information confidential and follow healthcare rules
• Work with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting preferred
• 2-3 years of experience as a medical scribe/medical assistant
• Excellent listening, communication, and comprehension skills
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, EHR)
• Professionalism and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
