Part-Time Medical Scribe / Transcriptionist – Pediatric Orthopedic Office

A busy pediatric orthopedic practice is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Scribe/Transcriptionist to join our care team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our providers to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation for providers
• Verify patient information and review all documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Accompany providers into exam rooms during patient visits to capture real-time notes
• Maintain organized, thorough, and confidential medical records

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to type 60+ words per minute
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Preferred: at least one year of relevant scribe/transcription experience or current students preparing to apply to medical or health-related programs
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to work in person
