Medical Social Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Medical Social Worker to join the Lagniappe Shreveport Bossier team. This MSW will work with staff and management to promote efficient and quality patient care and provide social services to patients in accordance to the patient's plan of care to address social, emotional or financial issues/concerns.

Qualifications:

• Current LA MSW License
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Possess a master's degree in social work

Applicants must currently be licensed by the Louisiana Board of Certified Social Work Examiners; or have a master's degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education in accordance with the requirements of the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.

Pay rate is based on a "per visit" rate of $60 per visit.
