Position Title: Medical Supply Sales Associate

Result Statement: To support acquisition and retention of customers by providing positively outrageous customer service through the execution of our sales process.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers find products on shelves or order from catalog
  • Verify orders with Dr. Offices.
  • Verify insurance(s). Able to call insurance companies to assess coverage.
  • Explain product uses to customer
  • Run the cash register for proper recording of sales, returns, receipts, charges and making change
  • Phones must be answered in a friendly and timely manner
  • Attitude should be positive at all times since this is a very focal point of the store
  • Keep inside DME area clean and clear for customer traffic
  • Restock shelves and check pricing for merchandise received
  • Process order as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to respect confidentiality of patient data
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to discuss billing information/status with customers
  • Courteous attitude
  • Experience in a responsible position
  • Ability to take direction from others
  • May be asked to lift 10-15 lbs. dailyEducation**
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Experience in retail sales helpful
  • Willing to become a Certified Fitter after appropriate training

Hours needed are Monday- Friday 9-5:30 with alternating Saturdays from 8:30-2.'
