Medical Support Associate

Responsibilities as a Medical Support Associate include but are not limited to...

Responsible for providing medical support to ensure efficient operation of this position. You will support the medical staff as well as clients in a variety of tasks related to client care, medication management, neurofeedback, scheduling, organization and communication. Our goals are to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Job description will be provided with more detail. A snapshot: This position will expect you to work in a variety of capacities. There will be times during the day that really need you to be focused / on task moving at a fast pace and other times allotted for you to complete EMR documentation, scanning and other assigned duties, effective time management is essential.

This employee will need to be motivated, quick at completing tasks and focused throughout the shift with the ability to change directions quickly as the tasks assigned will change back and forth throughout the shift.

What we look for in a candidate:

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant or CNA or experience in medical support
• Overall knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Socially perceptive and service oriented
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Organizational and planning skills
• Medical assistance degree/CNA certificate
• Experience in the substance abuse/recovery field
• Strong boundaries, Self starter, Willing to ask questions - No guessing
• Following chain of command
• Reliable to keep scheduled shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
