Medical Technician

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Part Time and Full Time Overnight Medical Technician (3pm-11pm) & (11pm-7am) to join our healthcare team in a skilled nursing facility. The Medical Technician supports nursing staff by assisting with resident care, monitoring health status, and ensuring residents receive safe and effective care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist nursing staff with basic resident care and support services.
• Monitor and record residents’ vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen levels.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation in resident charts and electronic health records.
• Ensure medical equipment and supplies are properly cleaned and stocked.
• Follow infection control procedures and facility safety protocols.
• Assist with transporting residents within the facility when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, and other healthcare team members.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Medical Technician certification or relevant healthcare certification (CNA, EMT, or equivalent preferred).
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting such as a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or assisted living preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with transfers and mobility.
