Argento Westchester is a premier memory care community in Los Angeles. We aim to promote wellness in our residents, with dignity and respect. We have full time positions available for med-techs. In this role, we are hoping to hire a compassionate, caring and patient individual. Experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care is ideal, with a passion for assisting older adults. Prior experience as a med-tech is preferred.

Our shifts are usually as follows:

AM and PM

As we serve our residents 24/7, this position requires working weekends.

A Qualified Candidate Needs to Be:

· dependable, flexible, and have a sense of humor

· able to work as a team and follow directions

· at least 18 years of age

· have a high school diploma/GED

· M.A., Phlebotomy, and/or experience as a medication technician is preferred

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

· Assist residents with their medications in accordance with policies and procedures

· Monitor residents and report changes in condition

· Maintain accurate records and documentation

· Assist with medication storage, inventory and refills

· Follow established guidelines

· Communicate with healthcare professionals and families, including when seeking out medical attention for a resident.

Successful clearance of a criminal background check and pre-employment physical (including TB test and drug screening) is required.

Pay Rate: $21-$23 per hour
