Jyoti Hospital, Gurgaon is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to assist in preparing ultrasound reports and supporting ultrasound-guided procedures under the supervision of a Musculoskeletal Radiologist trained in sports injuries. The role involves accurate and timely documentation of radiological findings, patient coordination, and assistance during image-guided interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Report Transcription & Documentation
- Accurately transcribe dictations of ultrasound and musculoskeletal imaging reports.
- Format, edit, and proofread radiology reports ensuring high accuracy and compliance with hospital standards.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records of all reports and patient data.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with patient data protection protocols (HIPAA / NABH standards).
2. Clinical & Procedural Assistance
- Assist the radiologist during ultrasound-guided injections, aspirations, and interventional procedures by preparing instruments, patient positioning, and managing procedural documentation.
- Handle and label samples appropriately (e.g., for aspiration or biopsy procedures).
- Ensure proper sterilization and readiness of procedural equipment.
- Provide patient comfort and explain procedural steps when instructed by the radiologist.
3. Coordination & Workflow Management
- Manage scheduling and coordination of ultrasound and interventional cases.
- Communicate effectively with referring doctors, physiotherapists, and patients regarding report timelines and procedural logistics.
- Support workflow efficiency by ensuring smooth patient flow and timely report delivery.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: Graduate (preferably in Life Sciences or allied health); Certificate/Diploma in Medical Transcription or Radiology Assistance preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in medical transcription, preferably in a radiology or diagnostic setup.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology, especially related to musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
- Typing speed of 50+ wpm with high accuracy.
- Familiarity with ultrasound systems and PACS / EMR software.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent English comprehension and communication.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
- Compassionate and professional patient-handling skills.
Work Schedule:
- Duration: 6 to 7 hours per day
- Days: Monday to Saturday (as per hospital schedule)
- Shift Timing: Flexible within Radiology Department operational hours
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and skill set.

Pay: ₹11,825.56 - ₹35,380.58 per month
