Medical Transcriptionist

**Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and be proficient in transcribing medical records accurately and efficiently.

**Duties:**

- Transcribe hand written office visit notes and other healthcare documentation from healthcare professionals. (Must understand handwriting)

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcribed reports

- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all legal requirements regarding medical records

- Edit transcribed reports for grammar and clarity

- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation

-Gather all required documentation for surgical clearance notes

**Experience:**

- Previous experience in medical transcription or a related field is required

- Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Ability to type quickly and accurately(Dragon dictation system available)

- Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing medical documents

-Experience with eclinicalworks emr preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
