Medical Transport Operator

Looking for caring, compassionate drivers to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include assisting wheelchair and/or stretcher clients to the vehicle and into the appointment facility, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and good time management skills. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license with an F endorsement and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload stretcher and wheelchair patients
• Safely transport patients to medical Appointments
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle
• Maintain neat, clean appearance
• Maintain polite, professional attitude

Qualifications

• Previous transportation experience a plus
• Excellent driving history
• A valid driver’s license
• F endorsement
• Able to pass physical and drug screen
• Knowledge of area roads
• Time mangement skills
• Ability to assist in lifting
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work well with others
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• Ability to remain calm in stressful client situations

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
