The schedule shift times are:
Monday-Thursday 12:30pm-9pm
Saturday 7:30am-4:00pm

Job Overview
The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) dispatcher is responsible for coordinating transportation services for patients who are unable to drive themselves to medical appointments or treatments. NEMT dispatchers often work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask, communicate effectively, and manage their time efficiently. They must also have a good understanding of medical terminology and be able to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients.

Description

The job duties of a NEMT dispatcher may include:

1. Receiving and processing requests for transportation services from healthcare facilities, patients, and caregivers.

2. Scheduling transportation services for patients, ensuring that vehicles and drivers are available to meet the needs of patients. Adjusting the schedule as needed to accommodate changes as needed.

3. Communicating with patients, healthcare providers, to ensure that everyone is aware of the schedule and any changes that may occur.

4. Maintaining accurate records of all transportation requests, including patient information, pick-up and drop-off times, and quoting wheelchair transportation.
