Medical Transportation Driver

Position Overview

The Environmental Service Technician II is responsible for the transport of patients to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, and their private homes in a safe and professional manner. Drivers will also be responsible for keeping the vehicles clean and operable.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily maintenance checks by using assigned vehicle inspection form.
• Submit vehicle inspection form to team leader daily.
• Maintain and submit log of vehicle maintenance schedule to team leader.
• Arrange and coordinate daily transportation of patients using Transmain.
• Contact patients to inform/remind them of their scheduled pickup time.
• Will provide patients with business cards to identify driver and provide a direct phone number.
• Perform COVID-19 wipe/spray down method daily inside vehicle.
• Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicle when requested.
• Must be able and willing to do light administrative duties and assist in transferring clinic supplies.
• Responsible for washing exterior and cleaning interior of vehicle when needed.
• Prepare monthly summary report when required.
• Must be capable of taking and following instructions and of working steadily and efficiently and be neat in appearance.

Experience:

• Must have a valid driver's license with clear driving history.
• Must have basic knowledge of van maintenance and valid driver’s license.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• This employee will be required to lift up 50lbs at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
