Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Medical Transportation Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for patients and healthcare providers. This energetic position involves operating a company vehicle to transport individuals to medical appointments, dialysis centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. As a key member of our team, you'll deliver excellent customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Duties

• Safely operate the company vehicle to transport patients efficiently.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing compassionate support and ensuring comfort during transit.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly.
• Load and unload patients requiring heavy lifting assistance while adhering to proper safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures diligently to ensure a secure transportation environment for everyone onboard.

Experience

• Prior passenger driving or delivery driver experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong navigation skills and professionalism.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early and ensure vehicle reliability.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
