Medical Wig Consultant – Compassionate Care Specialist (Spokane Valley Territory)

About the Role

RBS Wig Studio is expanding! We are seeking an autonomous, highly professional Medical Wig Consultant to launch our brand new Spokane Valley, WA territory. This role is designed for an experienced independent professional with a background in hair replacement, restorative aesthetics, or healthcare. You will combine clinical sensitivity with hands-on expertise, guiding clients who are experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy, alopecia, or other medical conditions inside a premium medical satellite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct private, compassionate in-person consultations and cranial prosthesis fittings at our designated Spokane Valley Satellite Studio.
• Take precise structural scalp measurements (The "Big 3") and provide clinical education on cap constructions, density matching, and hypoallergenic maintenance.
• Provide clients with itemized quotes and guide them through our insurance documentation packet (HCPCS coding and Letters of Medical Necessity).
• Manage your own schedule, client follow-ups, and open availability windows using the unified RBS digital platform.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, discretion, and full compliance with medical privacy (HIPAA) standards during all sessions.

Operational & Territory Requirements (Anti-Drama Clauses)

• Active Status Mandate: Candidates must maintain regular, reliable weekly availability on our booking platform. Territory rights are preserved through active engagement; extended inactivity or repeatedly declining local client bookings will result in territory reassignment.
• Strict Communication SLA: RBS operates in a critical, time-sensitive medical ecosystem serving oncology patients. Consultants are required to maintain a professional responsiveness standard, responding to all corporate communications (calls, texts, or emails) within 48 business hours.
• Milestone-Based Onboarding: To protect company inventory, your custom discounted Demo Suite and tools will be dispatched only after you have successfully completed our Certification Quiz, digital office workspace login, and live onboarding call.
• Washington State Compliance: As an Independent Contractor in the state of Washington, you must possess or be willing to establish a valid WA Business License yielding a Unified Business Identifier (UBI) number prior to field deployment, and you are responsible for your own local tax filings (B&O).

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with extreme sensitivity, dignity, and empathy in emotionally delicate medical situations.
• Strong, proactive professional communication and patient-care skills.
• Deep knowledge of wig construction, alternative hair solutions, or related prosthetic products is strongly desired.
• Language: English (Required)
• Base Uniform: Must provide your own professional, solid black medical scrubs for all client-facing office sessions (RBS embroidered branding options available upon contract signing).
